M-13/M-84 (Lafayette Street) bascule bridge closing for maintenance at 7 p.m. June 22

ST. IGNACE, Mich. - Cold, rainy weather early in the season has delayed completion of this year's work to repave portions of the Mackinac Bridge and replace a modular joint, which will result in extended lane closures.

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. ¬- The Michigan Department of Transportation will close southbound M-53 (Van Dyke Freeway) from M-59 (Hall Road) to 18 Mile Road in Macomb County for two weekends to repair the southbound M-53 bridge over the Clinton River in a continuation of work from last fall.

Newberry, Mich. - Motorists should expect a lane closure on the US-2 bridge over the Canadian National Railroad west of Engadine, Mackinac County, as crews from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) complete bridge maintenance work May 19 - 22.

SAGINAW, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is preparing to begin work on Component 1 of the Blue Water Bridge plaza expansion project in Port Huron.

ALPENA, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $665,394 to chip seal and fog seal 3.7 miles of M-32 in Alpena County in two sections: from Salina Road to M-65 and from Herron Road to King Settlement Road.
