Left-turn signals to be added next week at US-31/Silver Lake Road intersection in Grand Traverse County
December 01, 2023
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be adding left-turn signals at the US-31/Silver Lake Road (County Road 633) intersection in Grawn next week. The new signals will provide steady red, steady and flashing yellow, and steady green left-turn arrows for US-31 traffic in both directions, as well as a signal providing a separate right-turn phase for southbound Silver Lake Road traffic turning onto US-31.
Due to the railroad crossing and advance signals on the south leg of the intersection, the protected right-turn signal will not be installed for northbound Silver Lake Road traffic.
