Traffic signal improvements begin March 18 in multiple counties

SAGINAW, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $1.6 million to modernize traffic signals on various routes at multiple intersections in Gratiot, Shiawassee, Tuscola, Bay, and Saginaw counties.

Traffic restrictions:
Shoulder and single-lane closures will be in place during this work. MDOT will be modernizing traffic signals at the following intersections:
US-127 at M-46
US-127 at Warwick Street
M-71 at Gould Street
M-81 at Frank Street
M-15 at 22nd Street
M-46 at Cumberland Street
Safety benefit:
This work will modernize multiple traffic signals on various routes at multiple intersections throughout the Bay Region area, increasing safety and improving traffic flow.
