Intermittent ramp closures along eastbound I-94 in Jackson start today for rebuilding
March 18, 2024
LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will perform the following intermittent ramp closures along eastbound I-94 for rebuilding:
- The Michigan Avenue entrance ramp,
- The Parma Road entrance ramp and Exit 130, and
- Exit 136 to southbound M-60.
This work is part of the multi-year $162 million I-94 road and bridge rebuilding project in Jackson County, made possible by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's Rebuilding Michigan program to rebuild the state highways and bridges that are critical to the state's economy and carry the most traffic. The investment strategy is aimed at fixes that result in longer useful lives and improves the condition of the state's infrastructure.
