M-85 (Fort Street) closure at Outer Drive delayed until April 19-21 for bridge work in Wayne County

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. ­- Due to weather conditions, the closure of northbound M-85 (Fort Street) at Outer Drive on the Detroit/Lincoln Park border is now scheduled for next weekend, April 19-21. Beginning 6 a.m. Friday, April 19, through 5 p.m. Sunday, April 21, crews will be pouring concrete for a new bridge over Ecorse Creek.

Northbound M-85 will be detoured via northbound M-39 (Southfield Freeway) and northbound I-75 back to Shaefer Road/M-85 (Fort Street).
