MDOT public meeting Dec. 19 for proposed M-29 road diet in Marine City

SAGINAW, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) invites the public to attend a meeting to discuss a proposed road diet to reduce M-29 from four lanes to three from Chartier Avenue to the Belle River bridge in Marine City, St. Clair County. MDOT already has plans to resurface M-29 this summer. This road diet is proposed as a part of this project.

Project information:
MDOT is planning to resurface M-29 in Marine City next summer. As a part of this project, MDOT is proposing to convert M-29 from the existing four-lane roadway (two lanes in each direction) to a three-lane roadway (one lane in each direction plus a center left-turn lane) from Chartier Avenue to the Belle River bridge.
