M-123 bridge repairs in Chippewa County begin April 14

NEWBERRY, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $500,000 to repair and rebuild the M-123 bridge over the Tahquamenon River in Chippewa County. Work will include joint replacement, deck patching and substructure patching.

Traffic restrictions:
One lane of alternating traffic will be open on M-123 using traffic signals. A lane width restriction of 9.5 feet will be in effect during the project.
