Southbound US-127 lane closure Sept. 3 at Bailey Drive in Clare County for high-load hit repairs

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close the right lane of southbound US-127 at the Bailey Drive bridge in Clare County to repair damage to the structure from a previous high-load hit. Work will include heat straightening of the damaged beam.

The right lane of southbound US-127 will be closed at Bailey Drive during this work.
The westbound lane of Bailey Drive over southbound US-127 in Clare County was closed in May after the high-load hit was discovered. This lane closure will remain in effect while repairs are made to the structure.
