US-127 intermittent closures for permit work scheduled for early Friday morning, Nov. 7, in Lansing

LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has issued a permit to Zayo and US Signal for utility work on northbound/southbound US-127 between Saginaw Street and Kalamazoo Street in Lansing. This emergency work is to replace power lines damaged by a crash that knocked down power lines on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

Traffic restrictions:
This project will require intermittent lane closures on US-127 in each direction between Saginaw Street and Kalamazoo Street throughout the operation. Traffic control will be maintained by the Michigan State Police (MSP). Motorists should expect delays.
