M-25 (Veterans Memorial Bridge) improvements begin Dec. 1 in Bay City

BAY CITY, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing $1.6 million to maintain and improve the M-25 (Veterans Memorial Bridge) in Bay City. Work will include concrete deck patching and repairs, painting and mechanical work.

Traffic restrictions:
Traffic will be maintained with nighttime single-lane closures in both directions from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily.

This work will help ensure the continued safe and reliable operation of the bridge. This work is being done during the overnight hours to minimize impacts on traffic with the ongoing closure of the nearby Lafayette Avenue bridge.
Lane closures during this type of work are necessary to provide the safest work area possible for crews and motorists.
