Public meeting in Greenville next week for planned 2027 M-91 resurfacing project

GREENVILLE, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a public meeting next week regarding the planned 2027 resurfacing of M-91 from the Flat River to Peck Road. The meeting will provide information on the current design plans and the project schedule. The public is invited to stop by any time during the meeting to learn more about the project and provide comments.

Project information:

In 2027, MDOT plans to resurface more than 2 miles of M-91 from the Flat River north to Peck Road and upgrade sidewalk ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). A lane reconfiguration is being proposed to convert the four-lane section to three lanes by restriping M-91 from State Street to south of Wise Road (one lane in each direction with a center left-turn lane).
