Public meeting April 1 in Muskegon to discuss M-46 rebuilding project
MUSKEGON, Mich. - MDOT is hosting a public meeting next week regarding this year’s project to rebuild and improve M-46 (Apple Avenue) in the city of Muskegon. MDOT staff will provide information on project details, traffic maintenance and scheduling. The public is invited to stop by any time during the meeting to learn more about the project and provide comments.

Forms are located on the Title VI webpage. Requests made after this timeframe will be evaluated and honored to the extent possible.
Project information:
This year, MDOT will rebuild more than 2 miles of M-46 from Muskegon Avenue to Home Street. Work includes asphalt surfacing, lane reconfiguration, new storm sewer, new concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, new sanitary sewer, and a new water main. The project will implement traffic calming measures to improve safety for motorists and pedestrians, including a four- to three-lane conversion with a dedicated left-turn lane.
