Public meeting in Caledonia to discuss progress on M-37 rebuilding project
MDOT, in partnership with the Village of Caledonia, Caledonia Township and the Kent County Road Commission, is hosting a public meeting next week regarding the rebuilding and widening of M-37 (Broadmoor Avenue/Cherry Valley Avenue) in Caledonia Township, currently in progress. The meeting will provide an update on construction, the project schedule and traffic control. The public is invited to stop by any time during the meeting to learn more about the project and provide comments.

Attendees who require mobility, visual, hearing, written, or other assistance for effective participation should contact Orlando Curry at 517-241-7462 or CurryO@Michigan.gov, preferably at least five business days prior to the scheduled meeting. Forms are located on the Title VI webpage. Requests made after this timeframe will be evaluated and honored to the extent possible.
Project information:
MDOT is rebuilding and widening M-37 from south of 92nd Street to north of 76th Street. This two-year project is underway with tree clearing and utility relocation. Check Michigan.gov/Drive for traffic updates.
This project is being coordinated with a Kent County Road Commission project to rebuild 84th Street from M-37 to Cherry Valley Avenue.
