I-69 closed at Allen Road March 21-24 for bridge demolition in St. Clair County

PORT HURON, Mich. -The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing $2.1 million to improve the Allen Road bridge over I-69 in St. Clair County. As a part of this project, MDOT will close I-69 in both directions at Allen Road for demolition work March 21-24.

Traffic restrictions:
Both directions of I-69 will be closed and detoured via Wadhams Road, Griswold Road, Range Road and I-94.
Allen Road will be closed at I-69 in each direction during this project. Traffic will be detoured via Lapeer Road, Range Road and Griswold Road.
Safety benefit:
Closing the interstate during this type of work is necessary to allow crews to safely perform demolition work and ensure the safety of the motoring public.
