August 08, 2025
BAY CITY, Mich. - Due to forecasted rainy conditions, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is delaying work on several bridges along I-75 from north of US-10 to the M-13 connector in Bay County.
Work is complete on the southbound side with all lanes reopened. Work on the northbound side was originally scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 11. However, due to forecasted wet conditions, work will now begin Monday, Aug. 18, with an expected completion date of Thursday, Aug. 21.
This work is weather-dependent.
This $400,000 investment to apply epoxy overlays to the structures will result in a smoother driving surface and increased safety. Based on economic modeling, this overall investment is expected to directly and indirectly support three jobs.
