In Michigan, there are three publicly-owned and operated bridges: Mackinac Bridge, Blue Water Bridge, and International Bridge. There are also two privately-owned and operated border crossings: Ambassador Bridge and Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.

DAVISON, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close the right lane of southbound I-75 at the Coldwater Road overpass in Genesee County to perform a detailed bridge inspection. This is being done following a high-load strike that was discovered during a routine inspection on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Traffic restrictions:
The right lane of southbound I-75 will be closed for a beam inspection. The eastbound shoulder of Coldwater Road will be closed today, Wednesday, Sept. 10. That shoulder closure will remain in effect pending the results of the inspection.
Safety benefit:
This lane closure is necessary to ensure motorist and worker safety while the damage of the bridge is assessed.

NEWBERRY, Mich. - The detour of the M-48 overpass project at I-75 near Rudyard in Chippewa County has been lifted and the bridge is now open to traffic.
DAVISON, Mich. - Due to unforeseen material delivery delays, the closure of the Woodbury Rest Area on westbound I-69 in Shiawassee County has been postponed until Sept. 22.
