Update: US-127 ramp, lane closures for traffic shift begin Thursday, Nov. 20, in Lansing

LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close multiple ramps and lanes of US-127 to switch traffic back to its normal configuration during the next stage of the US-127 rebuilding project on Thursday, Nov. 20, in Lansing.

This work is part of the $205 million investment to rebuild US-127/I-496 from I-96 to I-496 to address safety concerns, improve roadway geometrics and improve vehicular movement.

For project news and updates, visit www.Michigan.gov/127Corridor or contact MDOT-127Corridor@Michigan.gov.

Funding for this project is made possible by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's Rebuilding Michigan program to rebuild the state highways and bridges that are critical to the state's economy and carry the most traffic. The investment strategy is aimed at fixes that result in longer useful lives and improve the condition of the state's infrastructure.
