LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is inviting the public to attend an open house to learn more about the planned 2027-2028 rebuilding of US-127 between I-496 and Lake Lansing Road in Lansing.

Project information:
MDOT is hosting an open house to discuss the planned rebuilding and realigning of a portion of US-127 from I-496 to south of Lake Lansing Road beginning in spring 2027. Construction will address improved roadway geometrics, vehicular movement and safety concerns. In addition to pavement repairs, this project will improve bridges through this corridor as well as upgrade drainage, signs, intelligent transportation systems and pavement markings.
