August 06, 2024
MENOMINEE, Mich. - Crews from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be performing bridge deck sealing on the US-41 Menominee River bridge between the cities of Menominee, Michigan, and Marinette, Wisconsin, beginning Aug. 19.
Beginning Monday, Aug. 19, motorists should expect single-lane closures in each direction of US-41 on the bridge while work is performed. All lanes are expected to reopen by Friday, Aug. 23. An 11-foot width restriction will be in place during the project.
The work is weather dependent, and the schedule may be adjusted.
MDOT is partnering with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to perform these repairs. The project will help ensure continued safe and reliable operation of the bridge.
