US-12 BR repairs between Rawsonville Road and Denton Road at Wayne/Washtenaw county border start Monday, April 14
April 10, 2025
CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Beginning 7 a.m. Monday, April 14, work will begin on US-12 (Michigan Avenue) at the US-12 Business Route between Rawsonville Road and Denton Road. Crews will be performing concrete repair along US-12 Business Route (BR), which will require a complete closure as well as other lane closures. This $870,000 project is expected to occur through July.
The westbound US-12 (Michigan Avenue) ramp to westbound US-12 BR will be closed from Denton Road to Dellor Street. Traffic will continue west on US-12 (Michigan Avenue) to the signal west of Denton Road, and can then turn right to access westbound US-12 BR.
US-12 BR will have one lane open in each direction between Denton and Rawsonville roads.
Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support eight jobs.
