US-12 resurfacing starts Tuesday, April 15, in Berrien County

COLOMA, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) in partnership with Kalin Construction Co. Inc. is continuing a $9.1 million investment on almost 7 miles of US-12 from the Galien/Bertrand township line to Mayflower Road.
Tree clearing began in November; the contractor will be making the transition to roadwork next week. The project includes asphalt repaving and shoulder widening, intersection rebuilding, drainage improvements, guardrail replacement and pavement markings.
