Chip seal projects start May 28 in Cass, Calhoun and St. Joseph counties

MARSHALL, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and contractor Pavement Maintenance Systems will be investing $4.3 million to crack seal, chip seal and fog seal 38.6 miles of five state highways.
Counties:
Cass, Calhoun, and St. Joseph
Highways:
- M-60 from East Main Street in Burlington to 24 1/2 Mile Road in Homer, Calhoun County.
- M-216 from M-40 to US-131 in Marcellus, Cass and St. Joseph counties.
- M-40 from Bradt Road to south of East Elm Street in Marcellus, Cass County.
- US-131 Business Route (BR) from the north intersection with US-131 to Spring Street in Constantine, St. Joseph County.
- M-103 from the Michigan/Indiana state line to Cecelia Street in Mottville, St. Joseph County.
