MDHHS Doula Registry

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Doula Registry provides information regarding Michigan doulas who have been verified as completing a MDHHS approved doula training, including area served, doula specialty, and ability to serve Medicaid beneficiaries. Please contact the individual doula to determine if they are accepting new clients.

Doulas providing services to Medicaid beneficiaries are required to be registered with Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and enroll as a Medicaid provider. Medicaid-Enrolled does not mean a doula is enrolled in each Medicaid Health Plan (MHP). Please contact your MHP and/or Doula to ask if they are eligible under your insurance.

For your convenience the MDHHS Doula Registry provides a list of all MDHHS-certified doulas, along with separate lists showing doulas serving each of Michigan's 10 Prosperity Regions (see below).
