Restaurant Meal Program
The Restaurant Meal Program (RMP) provides certain individuals who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, formerly known as Food Assistance Program or FAP, with the ability to use their Michigan Bridge card to purchase prepared food from participating restaurants
Information for SNAP Recipients:
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program recipients may use their benefits to purchase prepared food in certain authorized restaurants. No application is needed for SNAP recipients to participate in RMP. All group members must be either:
- Elderly (60 years of age or over).
- Disabled (receives disability or blindness payments or receives disability retirement benefits from a governmental agency because of a disability considered permanent).
- Homeless.
- A spouse of a SNAP recipient who is eligible for the program.
