In 1988, the Office of Minority Health (OMH) in Michigan was established by executive order to serve as the coordinating body for minority health in the state.
The bill was introduced to amend the public health code 1978 PA 368 to develop and implement a structure to address racial and ethnic health disparities in the state of Michigan.
