On  June 20, 2024 at 6 pm the Water Resources Division held a meeting - Recording of the Public Hearing Regarding the Proposed Reissuance of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Individual Permit for Gelman Sciences LLC - Wagner Rd facility (NPDES IP No. MI0048453)

This was a virtual information meeting and public hearing to provide an opportunity for the public to provide comments on the proposed reissuance of the NPDES surface water permit for Gelman Sciences LLC - Wagner Rd, which authorized the discharge of a maximum of 1.872 million gallons per day of treated groundwater to an unnamed tributary of Honey Creek. A short information session was held as part of the hearing prior to taking comments. All interested parties were invited to share comments on the proposed NPDES permit. The permit was issued on September 30, 2024.
