Welcome to the Michigan Juvenile Justice Bed Management Tool
The Bed Management Tool provides real-time, statewide visibility into available detention and residential beds for youth involved in the juvenile justice system. Designed to improve placement coordination and transparency, the tool supports faster decision-making and helps ensure that youth are matched with services that meet their needs.
This centralized dashboard allows court personnel and facility staff to easily view, search, and update bed availability—reducing inquiry burdens and helping streamline the placement process. Whether you're identifying open beds or tracking statewide trends, the tool makes it easier to align placement decisions with youth treatment goals.
This project is supported by a federal grant awarded to MDHHS by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP).
