Dear Colleagues,
As a follow up to the Local Health Department call held on March 18, 2020, we want to assure you that all CSHCS staff are aware that there is a pause in the current Accreditation cycle (effective immediately). Although the length of this pause is still unknown, please be assured that CSHCS Accreditation Reviewers will look at this time period with the understanding that a pandemic creates unique challenges to local public health and alters the way we are able to service clients. The time period for this pandemic will not be reviewed during your next CSHCS Accreditation site review; we trust that local health department staff will address the needs of your CSHCS clients as best as you are able while also responding to the demands placed on LHD staff in responding to the pandemic.
