CSHCS INFO #5-2018 - Customer Support Section Updates

Hello –


Please be aware that:

  1.  The CSHCS state office is experiencing a slight delay in processing new medicals, due to some unexpected staffing issues.  We have taken steps to quickly resolve this delay, and expect to return to normal processing times within the next 2 to 3 weeks.   
  2. We recently discovered that in some isolated incidences, information faxed in to CSHCS by providers may have been placed in a systems administrator queue.   We are working with our IT staff to resolve the issue.   As always, please continue to work with your Analyst if you have questions or concerns about the processing of information by the State Office, keeping in mind the established State Office turn-around times.
