CSHCS INFO #5-2021 - Parent Connect Call- CSHCS 101 Wednesday February 17, 2021
Thu 1/21/2021 2:42 PM
Dear Colleagues,
The Family Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (Family Center) is the statewide, parent-directed center within Children’s Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) and the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (MDHHS). The mission of the Family Center is to support and connect Michigan families of children and youth with special health care needs, provide family-centered leadership throughout Michigan’s health care settings, and partner in the decision making process within the systems of care for children and youth with special health care needs.
The Family Center is excited to offer a series of free Virtual Parent Connect Calls twice monthly. Our second call in February is scheduled for Wednesday February 17, 2021 at 4:00 pm EST. The topic is Children’s Special Health Care Services 101. Karrie Butler and Tari Gregurich will be speaking about the background and history of the CSHCS, Family Center, and Children with Special Needs (CSN) Fund.
We would appreciate you sharing our event flyer to help make the call a success.
