This alert impacts the CSHCS reimbursement rate for direct-bill and self-pay lodging.
Effective August 1, 2018, the CSHCS lodging reimbursement rate is changing from $41.25 to $75.00. This is consistent with the Medicaid lodging reimbursement rate.
We ask that the LHD’s inform families of the new rate when you authorize in-state or request out-of-state Non- Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) assistance for direct-bill or self-pay lodging for travel dates on or after August 1, 2018.
The chart below will be updated on the CSHCS website to reflect the change.
