CSHCS Alert #14- CSHCS Database Slowness Update
Thu 5/27/2021 1:56 PM
Dear Colleagues,
Last week I sent out an email indicating that the CSHCS database was operating very slowly. As of today, the issue has not been corrected. While we have been working diligently to find a solution, we have been unable to troubleshoot the issue. We are currently experiencing performance issues within the CSHCS database - creating client records, adding medical reports and decisions, enrolling clients, renewing clients, adding diagnoses and/or providers, creating correspondence, and general navigation through the system are affected at this time. You will see slower than normal response times for all documents sent in for processing.
Below is an Alert that was posted to the MDHHS website and sent out to all the Listservs.
May 26, 2021: CSHCS Database Issue
May 26, 2021: Attention All Providers: CSHCS is currently experiencing issues within its database. These issues affect client enrollment and renewal, adding additional diagnoses, and adding authorized providers. You may see no active coverage for approved clients and/or non-renewal for current clients in CHAMPS for CSHCS clients during this time. Please hold on billing claims for clients without active CSHCS coverage until this issue is resolved.
We are aware of the problem and are doing everything we can to resolve it. Additional updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
We will keep you informed on any updates we receive regarding system performance. We appreciate your patience while we work to resolve these issues.
