May 27, 2025: Attention Inpatient Hospital Providers: This is an update to the alert posted on March 11, 2025: The A8-Ungroupable denial has been fixed for inpatient claims. MDHHS is continuing to review the impacted claims, and these will be reprocessed. Providers are suggested to review the coding on their claims for accuracy, as not all claims denied for A8 may be invalid. Refer to the provider tip A8 Claim Denial Inpatient Hospital for further information.
