Tips for Using the WIC Connect Mobile App as a Vendor

Choosing a Language

Before logging in, select the settings gear in the top-left corner of the screen to choose your preferred language.

Using the UPC Scan Feature

The test account includes sample benefits. When scanning products, focus on whether the item shows as WIC eligible or not WIC eligible.

  • WIC approved with benefits remaining: The app will show the item as WIC eligible and display a remaining benefit amount.
  • WIC approved with no benefits remaining: The app will show the item as WIC eligible but display zero remaining benefits.
  • Not WIC approved: The app will show that the item is not WIC eligible.

Finding Clinics and Stores

You can locate WIC clinics and stores in your area. The clinic and store information is updated in real time.

Viewing a Benefit Balance

You can navigate between current and future benefits using the arrows or by selecting the Future Benefits button.
