Branesha Loyd
I'm Branesha Loyd born 10/20/1990 in the city of Detroit,MI.
Most of my life I was raised in Detroit, attended Catholic School and Public School. Before turning 17 my family and I moved to Allen Park, MI where I finished the rest of my High School Education. My family is made up of many retired law enforcers. My background and family structure played a role in most paths I chose into my adulthood. Growing into my early 20's and 30's I enjoyed volunteer work whether work related, religious based or helping my friends with their missions. Childcare and working with youth have always been majority of my work history . More recently I have operated childcare out of my primary residence in Detroit ,MI for a short period of time as a Licensed Provider. Working with at-risk youth and juveniles, being involved with a nonprofit focused on housing and optimal family success along with having a family member in the juvenile system for three years have all given me insight into the challenges that are met as the at-risk population navigate in society. These experiences have helped me understand what changes could be made to better support their reform and long-term stability.
