With over 700,000 veterans in Michigan, we are the ranked 11th in the nation in veteran population. It is of great importance that we serve this population is such a way that honors their service towards us. The challenges our men and women face when returning home from combat are numerous and grave. However, with the help of our faith-based partners, we are committed to ensure the honor, dignity, and success of our veterans. You can help support veterans by doing any of the following:
- Host a MDHHS training session at you church to learn more about veteran affairs. Email us at MDHHS-OFE@michigan.gov to get started.
- Help veterans get in touch with programs and services offered by Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, www.michigan.gov/veterans.
