Chain of events for Inspections:
MDHHS will notify the local health department via automated email when an application and payment have been received accepted. Once the inspection is complete, the local health department should go to the Body Art Portal to indicate whether the body art facility has passed or failed their inspection and their recommendation for licensure. Remember, you will need the 'HI' number included in the initial email from MDHHS in order to enter the results in the Body Art Portal.
