Previous Flint Water Settlement Updates #1
Adoptive parents, you may have a child who was previously exposed to contaminated water provided by the Flint Water Plant during the outlined period of the Flint Water Settlement. As a result, your child may be registered in the settlement with a court-appointed legal team as representation. If you wish for your child to participate in the settlement, review the material on this webpage and the Sample Letter to Parents of Adoptive Children below - under Additional Resources. Court-appointed legal teams may reach out with a communication similar to the Sample Letter or through phone for further discussion. Please respond to these communications in a timely manner if you wish to continue the settlement process.
