Lisa's Law, 2001 PA 22, made it a crime to threaten or physically harm a MDHHS employee. Related laws required MDHHS to provide safety training for workers, required MDHHS to request law enforcement assistance in unsafe situations, and criminalized impersonation of a MDHHS employee.
