New Michigan dept of Health and Human Services office to provide services to Alcona County residents from convenient location

LANSING, Mich. – Alcona County residents will be able to obtain services from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services from a more convenient location beginning July 18.
The department is opening a satellite office in Alcona County at Harbortown Marketplace, 410 E. Main St. in Harrisville. The office will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Alcona residents typically have visited MDHHS offices at 711 W. Chisholm St., Alpena, in Alpena County, or 2145 E. Huron Road, East Tawas, in Iosco County.
