LANSING, Mich. – The Roscommon County Michigan Department of Health and Human Services office is moving to its new location at 715 S. Loxley Road in Houghton Lake on Aug. 17 and 18.
The office is being relocated from 111 Union St. in Roscommon.
Both offices will be open on Aug. 17 and 18 to assist clients, however, system limitations are expected. Regular office hours will remain Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The new location best meets the needs of MDHHS clients, provides adequate space for the department and is the most fiscally responsible use of taxpayer dollars.
All existing landline phone numbers will be obsolete. Clients should watch for future mailings with updated contact information for their caseworker. The number for the new office will be 989-366-2300.
