We encourage you to use the materials below to create social media posts, newsletters, emails, letters, or posters to promote diabetes management, prevention, or enrollment in DPP or DSMES. In addition, you will find ready-to-use promotional materials for the Walk with Ease portal and the eye exam awareness campaign.

Walk With Ease (WWE) Promotional Handouts
These WWE two-sided promotional handouts can be printed and used to promote the free WWE self-directed statewide portal. Even though WWE was originally created to support people with arthritis, it is a program that can support people with many chronic conditions, such as prediabetes or diabetes, to get moving with a walking program.

The promotional handouts are available to print in five versions. The text on the handouts is all the same except for the images, which are representative of different populations or just a generic image (i.e., walking trail) to appeal to all populations.

Promoting Eye Exams for People with Diabetes
The promotional materials in this section are designed to help you raise awareness about the importance of eye exams for people with diabetes. They can be used to engage patients and caregivers in conversations about preventative eye care, supporting early detection and reducing the risk of eye damage and vision loss.
Posters

These single-sided 8.5” x 11” posters can be used to promote eye exams for people with diabetes. Consider displaying posters in waiting rooms, exam rooms, elevators, and/or community centers.

Take Home Card

These double-sided 4” x 6” cards can be used to send home with patients as a reminder to schedule their diabetes eye exam. The backside has lines that can be used to write in contact information for local eye providers.
