  • TB Personal Stories: TB is still a life-threatening problem in this country. TB knows no borders, and people here in the United states are suffering from TB. Anyone can get TB. These stories highlight the personal experiences of several people who were diagnosed and treated for TB disease, as well as the work of TB control professionals.
     
  • TB Information for Employers in Non-Healthcare Settings: This factsheet reviews what TB is, and what employers should do if an employee reports having a positive TB test, or has been in contact with someone who has TB. If you suspect TB in a coworker or in your facility please contact the TB Unit at MDHHS.
     
  • CDC's TB in Specific Populations webpage: TB is a challenging disease to diagnose, treat, and control. It is critical to target prevention and control efforts to certain populations so as to reduce disparities related to TB, and further reduce TB rates both in the United States and worldwide.
     
  • TB Information for International Travelers: This factsheet reviews drug resistance, the risk of acquiring TB on an airplane or while traveling, and how TB can be prevented. In addition, there are links to find additional information about TB and other diseases for the country you are traveling to.
         
  • Bovine Tuberculosis Information: Managed by MDARD, this website includes information about bovine TB in the state of Michigan. This website has information specifically for livestock that may be affected by bovine TB. If you have questions about bovine TB in humans, please contact the MDHHS TB Unit.
