Evidence-Based Practices and Grant Development SectionSection Manager – Mary Ludtke

  • Develop, manage, and oversee contracts and contract amendments in support of the bureau’s policies and programs 
  • Apply for grants and manage grants that align with the bureau’s policies and programs unless the grant has been assigned to another area within the bureau 
  • Develop and manage specialized programs for children’s behavioral health services based upon the availability of grant funding and other special revenue sources 
  • Support the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and related learning collaboratives through grants and special funding sources  
  • Support compliance and oversight activities related to contracts, grants, and funding

 

Family Community and Partnerships SectionSection Manager – Justin Tate

  • Develop and implement a family-driven, youth-guided approach for partnering with children, youth, and families in the design and implementation of the bureau’s programs and services 
  • Build and maintain relationships with other child-serving systems including advocacy organizations, providers, child welfare agencies, juvenile justice providers (state and county-based), and schools 
  • Build and maintain relationships with other state agencies that provide oversight of child-serving systems such as CSA, SHA, BPHASA, PHA, and MDE
  • Support bureau efforts to coordinate implementation of policy, programmatic, and quality improvement projects in collaboration with other child-serving systems 
  • Support the Clinical Support and Service Navigation Team in making linkages to care in other child-serving systems for children and youth

Data Monitoring and Quality Improvement Section, Section Manager – Erin Mobley

  • Develop a quality monitoring program and identify associated metrics to track utilization and quality of children’s behavioral health services 
  • Coordinate with SIA and DTMB staff and contractors to implement system changes to support quality reporting and monitoring 
  • Conduct analyses of children’s behavioral health data to help inform policymaking and operational decisions and identify and incorporate additional data sources to strengthen analyses 
  • Support the planning and execution of quality improvement projects in alignment with the broader work of the bureau 
  • Develop and implement a public-facing dashboard that reports key information on access, utilization, and effectiveness of children’s behavioral health services 
  • Develop systems and processes to capture, analyze, and report on the needs and strengths of children, youth, and families based on the statewide assessment process
