DVS funds crime victim rights projects statewide to support services required to implement the William Van Regenmoter Crime Victims’ Rights Act. These include formula-based grants that support crime victim rights advocates at prosecutors' offices statewide, grants to support Navigators to help victims of crime apply for Crime Victim Compensation, and other specialized programs. These programs are funded through the state Crime Victims' Rights Fund.
