Michigan Disease Surveillance System

The Michigan Disease Surveillance System (MDSS) is the state’s electronic reporting and surveillance system for communicable diseases. It collects, stores, and manages data on reportable conditions from healthcare providers, laboratories, and local health departments. MDSS supports timely disease monitoring, outbreak detection, and public health response across Michigan. It also helps facilitate reporting, case management, and communication between local and state public health authorities.

To access MDSS, users must log in through MiLogin. Select the appropriate login option below based on whether you are a State of Michigan employee or an external partner.
