Michigan BioTrust for Health - Educational Resources and Community Outreach

Michigan's BioTrust Awareness Campaign

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has made it a priority to increase awareness about blood spots and the BioTrust. The BioTrust Community Values Advisory Board was established in 2009 and meets three times/year. For additional details see the Advisory Boards website. Since 2010, Department staff and BioTrust Community Values Advisory Board members have participated in over 100 different community events providing facts about the BioTrust and information about consent options. We continue to use a variety of strategies to share information with Michiganders. Please explore this page to learn more about our educational activities and available resources.
