Building a Trauma-Informed Michigan
In recent years there has been a significant increase in the number and types of trauma related services, programs and activities in Michigan. Some of these efforts are state-wide and some are focused on one or more specific communities.
This section provides information about the prevalence and impact of trauma and toxic stress for Michigan’s children and adults. It also summarizes Michigan’s efforts to prevent and address the impact of trauma in our state.
