Fetal Development: Week 14
4 weeks after conception (about 3 ½ months)
(16 weeks after the last menstrual period)
The fetus is about 4 ¾ inches (4.75 inches) long from crown to rump (head to butt) or about the size of a large lemon. The fetus weighs about 1 to 1 ½ ounces. The fetus is going through a period of rapid growth.
A lemon is 2 ¾ to 4 ¾ in long.
