The Michigan WIC Program has developed surveillance trend reports for state and local agency use. The Michigan Pregnancy (PNSS) and Pediatric (PedNSS) Nutrition Surveillance reports contain information on the demographic composition and health status of women and health outcomes of infants and children enrolled on the WIC Program.
PNSS and PedNSS reports are an excellent administrative tool for evidence based decision-making. These reports may be used in strategic planning and other program development and planning activities.
